Acceptable Use Policy

Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to your use of POTLOCK websites, applications, and services (collectively, the "Platform"). By using the Platform, you agree to use it only in ways that are lawful and consistent with this policy and our mission to support public goods funding.

Permitted Use

You may use the Platform to discover projects, donate, run campaigns, manage rounds, and otherwise participate in public goods funding in accordance with our Terms and applicable law. We encourage transparent, good-faith use that furthers ecosystem and community goals.

Prohibited Conduct

You may not use the Platform to: (a) violate any applicable law or regulation; (b) engage in fraud, manipulation, or abuse (e.g. sybil attacks, false claims); (c) harass, threaten, or harm others; (d) distribute malware or attempt to compromise security; (e) scrape or automate access in ways that overload or harm our systems; or (f) use the Platform for any purpose that could damage our reputation or the integrity of public goods funding.

Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and take action we deem appropriate, including restricting or terminating access, removing content, and reporting to authorities. We are not obligated to monitor all use but may do so to protect the Platform and users.
