Observer Persona: Browsing Without Logging In

An observer is someone who is just observing and is not logged in. This is different from a non–KYC'd donor (someone with an account but without the I-Am-Human verification).

What observers can do

• Browse available projects
• Audit: everything is on-chain, so you don't need to be logged in to see transaction history and data

What observers can't do

• Contribute to funding rounds
• Make attestations
• Make direct donations or get on-chain referrals
• Access the round manager dashboard
• Attest for a project
• Any on-chain interaction—logging in is required

From a UI perspective, observers see similar views, but certain buttons (e.g. donate) may show a popup prompting them to log in or get a role. See docs.potlock.org for full personas.
